I need urgent confirmation of your assistance to the Field Trip. This is because I need to book hotels and decide about the size of the transportation. Send your email to ITURRALDE@MNHNC.INF.CU the sooner the better because I will be out of office most of February.

March 18Transfer Havana - Moa (Hotel in Moa)
March 19Moa - Sagua de Tanamo-Sabaneta. Ophiolites, olistostromes and Paleogene volcanic section (Hotel in Moa)
March 20Moa eastward to Baracoa. Ophiolites including basaltic bodies and Cretaceous radiolarian cherts. (Hotel in Baracoa)
March 21Moa to Santiago de Cuba. Road La Farola. Metamorphic Cretaceous volcanic arc rocks. Visit to El Cobre mine and Chappel (Hotel in Santiago)
March 22Santiago de Cuba westward. Road south of Sierra Maestra to Turquino. The Paleocene-Eocene plutonic and volcanic arc rocks. Relationships with the deformed Cretaceous arc and latest Cretaceous-Danian sediments. (Hotel in Santiago)
