return to main photo album catalog Installation of big air handlers Photos from April 3, 2006
More insulation being installed on the exterior. We should begin seeing bricks in about a couple of weeks.
Work continues on the loading dock ramp - almost ready for the concrete.
Inside on the first floor, workers are pushing around one of the two air handlers for this floor. These are very large and very heavy, and a lot of interior framing work was on hold until these behemoths could be delivered and rolled into position.
Now that the air handler has been rotated, it needs to do a straight shot of ~30' to the left. In the background is the completed framing for TACC's main E-W hallway.
The workers are enlisting the aid of an electric lift to help move the air handler.
This platform is where the air handler will hopefully be by the end of the day. A second one goes to the right.
Up on the second floor, the first bit of interior framing.
Here is the air handler on the 3rd floor, already installed on its platform. A worker climbs up to the roof, where a lot of activity is going on.
This photo looks into my office space, now filled with door frames and dry wall.
Also on the 3rd floor, plumbers are installing pipe for the bathrooms....
...and a workers applies a wrench to the fire extinguisher piping.
Down on the SW corner, window framing is going in on the first floor. Next photo album
