First floor lobby of the connector, looking toward the TACC entrance - that's Frank Barnes of Flintco helping out with our inspection.
Looking back toward the BEG entrance. Toby's filling out the "punch" list again.
The building dedication plaque - referring to when the building was approved and by whom.
Second floor lobby of the connector - UTIG's lobby - looking toward the BEG doorway.
Looking toward the UTIG entrance on the 2nd floor.
Third floor of the connector, looking toward BEG. There will be lounge chairs and a coffee table in the triangular area to the left.
We had a wet day for the landscaping inspection - rather appropriate. This is the south side of the building. Larry Miller is inspecting the edge plantings.
Also on the south side, the transformers get some cosmetic work by the landscapers. A dirt berm was also made to contain any leak that might occur.
On the east side, the sprinklers are tested in the rain. Not much effort went into landscaping this side of the building because there are future plans for TACC to expand their machine room and build a visualization lab here.
The east entry courtyard.
Picnic tables are going in by the east entry courtyard. This landscaping went overboard here - grass will extend to the near parts of the table pads. The bench to the left is waiting to be installed.
The east courtyard looking out from the entry doorway. The entry to the seminar room is to the right, under the canopy. The "pull-out" to right is where one of the benches will be installed - another will go further back to the left. The west entry courtyard from the parking lot. No - the benches are not supposed to be there - they are also waiting to be installed in the courtyard along the pathway.
Good way to finish - speaks for itself.
