Student & Post-Doc Opportunities

We are always open to collaborating with new JSG students and postdocs that are interested in working on climate problems. We have a new Climate Systems Science Graduate Curriculum. We often have interesting field projects that involve an equal amount of experiment design, instrument deployment and data analysis.

Current opportunites for graduate students in Climate Systems Science include:

students at McMurdo Station Geophysical investigations of the West Antarctic ice sheet. Contact Don Blankenship for more information.
Fossil coral drilling Recent coral drilling campaigns have been conducted offshore of Puerto Rico, Cry Tortugas, and Vanuatu. Fossil coral drilling on land has been conducted in the Soloman Islands and Vanuatu. Contact Terry Quinn or Fred Tyalor for more information.
