Current Meetings

Fall AGU
San Francisco, CA
Dec. 13-17, 2004

UT Jackson School of Geosciences
will be at the AGU 2004 Fall Meeting!

UT Austin will be represented at AGU's 2004 Fall Meeting by members of its staff, students, and alumni. JSG will have Booth R1 in the Academic Showcase. The Seismic Data Center based at UTIG will participate in the "Marine Geoscience Data Management System" booth, #430. (AGU floor plan)

Friends and alumni, join us for lunch on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 12:00 - 2:00!

JSG's P. Mann and A. Levander (Rice University) will convene session T29, "Tectonics and continental growth processes in the circum-Caribbean region." S. L. Baldwin (Syracuse Univ.) and Mann are presiding over T41C, "Rapid, Along-Strike Kinematic, Tectonic, and Thermochronologic Variations Within Obliquely Convergent Circum-Pacific Plate Boundary Zones." C Laj (Unite Mixte de Rechereche, CEA-CNRS) and D.M. Bailey (JSG graduate student) are presiding over ED31, "An International Perspective on Geoscience Education."
