Funding from NSF, ONR, and other sponsors enables our researchers to pursue their interests often in remote places. Often participating in collaborative ventures with other scientists from around the world, JSG scientists are well-respected by their colleagues and their publications are well-cited. JSG is proud to have more than 20 scientists conducting MG&G research under its umbrella. Its researchers are one of the primary reasons the Jackson School of Geosciences has obtained its reputation as one of the premier schools to study MG&G.
