Participants in the 2009 MG&G field course, May 2009.

On a general level, MG&G is a multi-disciplinary endeavor and students take a broad range of courses. In May 2008, the Jackson School debuted a new field course, Marine Geology & Geophysics Field Course, to provide hands-on instruction for graduate and upper-level undergraduate students in collecting and processing MG&G data.
