    Marine Geology and Geophysics

    Research

Marine geology and geophysical research at the University of Texas includes the exploration of earth processes through a variety of techniques in oceans around the world. Our research projects have a large emphasis on sea-going field work with active involvement by students. We have active research projects currently in Indonesia, Alaska, Scotia Sea, Taiwan, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Nicaragua, New Jersey, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Arctic with many opportunities for collaboration.
