Dr. Christensen will be introducing the theory linking the two topics, and presenting some of the latest paleoclimate results from the special
issue of the J. of Human Evolution (Nov 2007) that she guest-edited with Mark Maslin.  She will also be presenting some of her ongoing
research on southern African paleoclimate.
