TXESS Revolution teachers honored by SACNAS and NAGT

A TXESS Revolution and Texas Regional Collaborative teacher, Michael Arratia, is being honored by SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science) for his teaching an d mentoring. Michael worked on the SIEDCAR Project with Jay Pulliam, a UTIG research scientist. And, TXESS Revolution and GeoFORCE teacher, Michae l Brunt, has been named a National Association of Geoscience Teachers 2011 Outstanding Earth Science Teacher (OEST). Michael worked on a seismology research project with UTIG r esearch scientist, Cliff Frohlich.
