Student Contract:
A sample student contract is provided to help students understand their roll as a group member and the consequence of not following the contract. Sample Contract.Comic Book Information:
A comic book of four to five pages
will be challenging
enough for some students.
Extremely motivated students may do as many as eight pages.
Comic book templates in PDF format
are provided for use with
your students. These
serve as an
easy way for them to plan their work and the amount of information and
art that
they plan on using.
Some helpful hints for preparing the
comic book:
- Have students do
their draft in pencil! Add color at the end.
- Have students
check spelling and mechanics during each page, rather than at the end.
- Partner students
with artistic abilities and students with good writing abilities.
- Use published
comic books as models for character design and story flow.
The only rule to establish in the
creation of the comic
books is that every panel must contain explanatory text.
