Science and Technology Unit

Science is the reason that everyone else is there. Your job is to make sure that Canadian scientists from all different disciplines can have successful research seasons in Antarctica. Keep in mind that some people may not want to be located in the station for their research.

What facilities will you need for biologists, geologists, astronomers, psychologists and atmospheric scientists?
Some of these disciplines need particularly clean environments
What about a library facility?
Scientists need labs and shops to build all of their equipment.

Technology

You may want to look at alternative energy sources for powering some buildings (i.e. solar)
You will need people there to assist scientists in reaching their goals: people who can machine parts, build instruments etc.
