About Xiangyang
Xiangyang Xie received his PhD from the University of Wyoming in June, 2007. His topic was "Intracontinental Deformation and Sedimentary Response in the Mesozoic southern Ordos Basin, north central China." Xian's current research interests include regional provenance studies of potential reservoir sandstones. He will be working on samples collected by Alejandro Escalona and Xian will also make additional field studies to include Phase I and Phase II areas. He is working with Kitty Milliken from the University of Texas and Kathie Marsaglia from Cal State Northridge.
