Late Pleistocene New Jersey Shelf Sedimentation as a Response to Glacio-eustatic Sea Level Rise
What sparked your interest in geology?
I was involved in a Math, Science, and Engineering Academy as teenager and was exposed to geology at a very early age.
Why did you choose the Jackson School’s UT Department of Geological Sciences for your studies?
I chose the Jackson School because of its good reputation in geology especially the sedimentology.
What are some of the field experiences you have had as a student at UTIG?
I spent two weeks in early August, 2007, on the R/V Knorr on the New Jersey continental shelf where we collected vibracore data in order to study eustasy.
What are your career goals?
I have accepted a petroleum geologist job with Shell in Houston, Texas.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I play golf as well as other sports and watch TV.
What fun activity would you recommend to an incoming UT student?
An incoming student must experience a UT football game.
