Yao You, graduate student

Education:
M.S. Geology, Indiana University, 2006-2008
B.S. Geology and Mathematics, Peking University, 2002-2006

UTIG Advisor: Peter Flemings

Research Topic:
I am interested in quantitative modeling of crustal fluid and geomorphology problems, especially in the areas where the two interact with each other. I am currently studying failure in unconsolidated sands caused by breaching. This is a type of slowly retrogressive and high angle failure. It is common in fluvial, coastal, and submarine environments.
