UTIG’s capabilities in geophysical research extend from problem-definition through data acquisition and processing to the interpretation of results. To meet the requirements of each step, UTIG scientists use state-of the-art equipment and technologies. The development of new methodologies and instrumentation for research projects is an integral part of UTIG’s activities.
Collaborations with Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Norway, and Taiwan also provide UTIG scientists with opportunities to sail on other international vessels.
