GEOFLUIDS & GEOSYSTEMS AT UT

The GeoFluids and GeoSystems groups at UT study pressure, stress, and geologic evolution in the Gulf of Mexico and around the world. See the "Research" link for more information.

Dr. Flemings is a professor in the Jackson School of Geosciences and splits his time between the Department of Geological Sciences, The Bureau of Economic Geology, and the Institute for Geophysics. He is also the Jackson Chair of Geosystems. He has sailed on Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Legs 174A and 196 and was co-chief scientist of IODP Expedition 308. He has served on numerous ODP and IODP advisory panels and recently chaired the Engineering Development Panel.
