  This picture looks cool.  This is a section of the first picture from the Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) that began to give scientists reason to believe that water once existed on the surface of Mars.  This image is from the southwestern section of the Candor Chasma.  There are over 100 uniform beds in this area with about the same thickness estimated at around 10 meters.  On Earth, such patterns as this indicate that the sediment was deposited by underwater environments.  This may mean the same for Mars but it is still uncertain.
