Beyond Penguins and Polar Bears - A webquest to compare and contrast Antarctica and the Arctic for grades 7-12.They Look Like Pepperonis! - An inquiry-based learning activity that uses bathymetry data collected on UTIG's NBP0401 cruise. Students identify seafloor features based on their geomorphology.
Imaging the Seafloor - Students will use a motion detector to learn about how sound waves can be used to image objects. Grades 9-12
Google Earth Antarctica - An activity using georeferenced photographs from UTIG's AGASEA project. You'll need to download Google Earth here if you don't already have it. Grades 7-12
