Figure 1: Context map of West Antarctica showing location of Ross Sea / Amundsen Sea ice flow divide aerogeophyscal survey region.   These surveys were conducted by UTIG during 1995/96 and 1996/97 field seasons with an instrument package consisting of an  ice penetrating radar sounder, laser altimeter, gravimeter, magnetometer and inertial navigation.  Aircraft postions were determined by carrier phase GPS.
